Been playing the new mp3 rarity. Wondering what people thought of it.
And-- I read a very good article by David Fricke in the new Rolling
Stone regarding the way the attacks in NYC have changed his response to
music-- he notes, for e.g., that U2's latest album seems applicable
across the board, and that even the raw anger of Nirvana songs has been
theraputic, but that in light of it all, stuff by folks like Eminiem and
Limp Bizkit seems to be so trivial and banal in light of all that's been
going on.
So I was wondering if people felt their reactions to/realtionships with
any OTR material had changed since 9-11, and/or if anyone had a
particular OTR song that they found comforting.

In the electoral campaign, President Bush named as the most important person in his life Jesus Christ. Now he has a unique chance to prove that he meant it seriously: for him, as for all Americans today, "Love thy neighbor!" means "Love the Muslims!" OR IT MEANS NOTHING AT ALL.
