Oingo Boingo (Danny Elfman's brainchild) _Boingo_
(1994, giant/WB records)... three songs in
particular- "Insanity" "Hey!" and "War Again"- have
a definite socio-political slant.

musically, it's like Beetlejuice, Nightmare Before
Christmas, the Simpsons... um... what other stuff
has Danny Elfman been involved in?  :D

anyway, it's wacky, tempo-shifting modern rock.
the predecessor to the band Mr. Bungle (see MB's
_California_ album, 1999 on WB records).

ok, OtR content... former listie Lisa (Walker)
Miller's husband Nathan clued me into O.Boingo's
greatness while at a Moonlight Gardens OtR show.
see... OtR content... sort of.  :P'

OB's _B_ is on-deck... yay!
