No, actually, 1906, as per 'Put the Blame on Mame', the song Rita Hayworth
sings in _Gilda_ ("six" rhymes with "tricks").  There's also some footage
of the aftermath on the DVD _Landmarks of Early Film, Vol. 1_.

There was, however, a more recent earthquake in 1989 -- I would have been
about 19 at the time, but I honestly can't say I remember it.
