"drenched" about town
YO - FAMILY, FRIENDS, FANS & FREAKS,
Has it been nearly three months since I sent out an "update" on our upcoming
dates?
(You don't really have to answer that. It's a hypothetical question.)
It's been a bit of a slow summer for us. Tom & I have played some acoustic
duo shows.
Huge thanx to the loyals, a.k.a. "the wetheads" for coming out and
supporting us!
You know who you are - too many to mention here - but devoted ones none the
less.
All the dates I'm listing below, we'll be joined by our "associate member"
Mike Bitts.
(The magically, smooth bass player of 'The Innocence Mission' fame.)
Alright, already - enough pandering. (You know you love it.)

SO - ON WITH THE SCHEDULE:
SATURDAY, AUGUST 18th - 8 till 10:30 pm

A cozy "new" venue at 145 N. Duke Street in Lancaster, PA.
An intimate outdoor gig on their new terrace/patio.
Just up from the county library & directly across from the Duke Street
Garage.
(It's also diagonally across from the police station on E. Chestnut Street.
I guess that means we can't turn it up to "eleven")
This is a free show - BUT - a scant $2 donation would be gratefully
accepted.

Our 'Over-the-Rhine' cover, "Hej (I Do)" will be on the much anticipated
tribute CD,
"What It Takes To Please You". Scheduled for a late August release.

We're in the process of changing the bands name from 'Drenched' to 'SPEK'.
The evolving nature, sound, contacts & industry have prompted this
necessity.
PLUS - we'll be recording our first "official" CD this fall - so the
timing's appropriate.
