cowboy junkies

So, did anyone else catch last night's cowboy junkies show in
poughkeepsie? All i can say is... whoa. Holy freakin' shit. They were
good. I'd only ever heard one or two of their songs before (thanks to
mp3.com), and i had forgotten all about the concert until someone at work
sent out an email to all us interns asking if anyone else wanted to go to
the concert.

Since i don't really know any of their songs, i can't give a
setlist. Sorry.

Margo took a few stabs at poughkeepsie -- "i've met some *very* nice
people in this lovely city..." referring, of course, to the bums (for
those of you who don't know, downtown poughkeepsie is not exactly the
nicest place to be... keep your windows closed and your doors locked).

And i'm utterly kicking myself for having missed the whole of the cj/otr
tour... damn, that would've been one overwhelming show.

Wow.

And now, i return to lurking.
