a little bit. wait. bogarts. deathkeepsie.

wow... i got sarah masen's "dreamlife of
angels" yesterday in the mail... thanks
to the kind folks who let me know that
it was out. i've only made it half way
through so far, but i like it.

probably my fav is the supertramp song,
"give a little bit." i remember singing
that song way back in 7th grade at my
youth group out in SoCal. it's a groovy
song... ever since i got into music, i
always wanted to get a supertramp hits
CD for that song alone... heck, now i
guess i don't have to now. sarah masen's
got me covered...

OtR sidenote(s)... wow, this was the first
time i have heard "the world can wait"
since j.marie mentioned the chroma key
similarities. holy crap!!! it's very
similar to chroma key. the drums and high
dissonant keyboard/guitar sound, with the
underlying piano. yummy. i need a kevin
moore fix, but none is around now... das
shutzenfest!

yay... OtR bogart's show tonight. i hope
they do an acoustic version of "give me
strength." ;) a techno version of "pough-
keepsie" would be nice, though. :)

(actually, anybody interested in recording
a death metal version of "poughkeepsie," let
me know. i can't play, but i could provide
vocal flavor. morbid angel meets early fear
factory meets over the rhine.)

i am *completely* serious about that. 127%
serious. absolutely. ok, maybe 126%.

like a kid-bull in a china candy shop,
Dan
