of bono and the tarmac... and gordon henderson musings...
howdy...
whilst in california, i happened across the video
for u2's "beautiful day" on eMpTyV. kinda good
video (dang, they look old, though). anyway, near
the endish-middle of the song, they are playing on
a runway, and an airplane (allegedly) flies
directly over them... anyway, it totally reminded
me of bruce's "hamsters on the tarmac" story. all
i could think when i saw the video was, "silly
director, u2 doesn't belong on the tarmac!!"
no wonder they're losing their hearing. anyway.

oh, oh...
i just spotted this one... while looking at my
sarah masen liner notes, i see someone named
gordon henderson as credited with playing bass on
her "the holding" 1995 indie CD. is this jack?
anybody know?
