otr on "the betty crane variety hour"

back in october, on the local town station, a guy sitting in a
churchyard full of pumpkins was talking to the station's annoying
psuedo-celebrity variety show host while plucking on a guitar and
singing a few tunes.  two of them were by one of his favorite bands -
over the rhine.  he sang etc. whatever and poughkeepsie (from what I
can gather from my mother.  I saw him do etc., but only me mum saw the
first half of the show -- "it was some song about somebody jumpin' off
a bring or somethin'").

oh, p.s. -- is there an owen eliason on this list?
