I'm still listening to EmmlyLou's new CD but what I've heard so far has
been really good. I like "I Don't Want to Talk ABout it Now" but I'm
especially taken with the first song "The Pearl." If I don't watch myself
I can hit repeat 5 or 6 times.
I know a number of my friends have said that they like it but not as much
as the Wrecking Ball disc. They felt it was too much of an attempt to
replicate Wrecking Ball. I think Malcolm Burns did a really nice job on
the production. He also recently produced a Christian band called "The
Normals." I was quite surprised to see that.
Emmy Lou is playing a club in Pontiac Michigan tomorrow night. I'm
kicking myself because I can't go. Especially since Buddy Miller is
playing with her.
