no, not blind violence, its FOCUSED FURY. The application of maximum
violence during shortest amount of time possible. a thurderstorm as
compared to soccer's slow drizzle.

football is also much more of a thinking sport than one gives it credit for.
you dont' see those soccer players lugging around playbooks the size of
dictionaries, do you? as a linebacker or safety, you would have to read the
offense sets which there are many, and deploy the defense to counter. and
after a play starts, you have to read the flow so as to pick you spot to
knife in and make the tackle. or on the offense side, linemen have to read
the defense rush pattern, the quarterback and receiver must read the
coverage so they can be on the same page and go where the balls are
thrown...not just a bunch of ballerinas running around the field trying to
kick each other in the shin.

i actually support more use of quick surgical strikes with the military
aimed at the top (leadership, government seats, etc) , be it low level
bombing run or special forces. economic sanctions takes too long and
never works very well. so its like follow the code or die a very fast
exciting and lonely death.

you've obviously never seen barry sanders run. or a steve young-jerry rice
connection.

if there is a soccer player that can moves like sanders, i will eat my
cleats.

plus, i've played both for years, and i find football to be much more
exhilarating, still remember when i drilled someone in the chest for the
first time...or the first time i send someone to the hospital in a neck
brace, soccer, heh.

you can't say that can you? did you play football? i didn't think so. so i
have to doubt your frame of reference :)
