hey paul.  i bought that book not too long ago but haven't gotten to it yet. 
  (imagine that) how far are you? is it hard to follow?   i've heard people 
recommend taking notes on that one.  like writing down all the different 
names and maybe a few characteristics to keep 'em straight.

right now i'm most the way through 'red badge of courage'.
