otr mix up at Borders/The Early Show

Hello friends,

I just had to share this little humorous story from an experience at Borders
the other night:

I live way up here in Northern Indiana in a nice little suburb of South Bend
called Mishawaka.
So, I was driving home from somewhere the other night, listening to GDBD. I
wasn't in the mood to go home, so I drove around a little longer and ended
up at Borders. I figured I'd go inside and check out any new music they
might have featured.
Most of the selections were the same as last month, but my eyes perked up
when I saw the re-release of GDBD featured.
I was especially excited because I had just been sharing some lyrics from "
It's Never Quite What It Seems (An American Dream)" with someone earlier
that night. And I don't have the re-release in my possession yet.
I hit selection #3 (which was to be GDBD) and was greeted some kind of
horrible rock music. It was most definitely not otr. Someone had mixed the
cd's up in the disc player. Being the fanatic and Good Samaritan that I am,
I took it upon myself to let the nice Borders lady know they had made a
grave error. ;D
To make matters even worse, I found an unbelievable typographical error on
the otr description above the selection. It said something about the band's
sound having influenced the likes of Sarah McLachlan and Sixpence. Then it
proceeded to encourage the listener to try track #1 "Latter Days" and track
#2 "All I Want Is Everything."
I just had to shake my head. Go figure.

Also, I contacted the otr camp today and inquired as to when we'll all be
able to see the band's outdoor performance on The Early Show.
Here's the official word I received:

"No word on when the taped segment will air. Once we know we will post it on

the website, musi-cal.com and via the e-mail Announcement List.

Stay tuned..."

There you go. Take care, Sarah
