Actually, I was thinking more of a riot in the streets sort of thing.
You know, mass revolt kinda. Think "Storming the Bastille/the warden's
head on a pike" sort of thing...

And yes, I do think that suffiecient numbers of citizens, both armed and
unarmed, can make a difference if they work together and fight for a
common cause.

Call me old fashioned.

-->actually, i call you revolutionary. when people in latinamerica need
change b/c of extreme poverty (aka globalization and nafta as we know it),
they take to the streets. here they go buy more drugs and watch the cable
tv that our welfare pays for. who's really getting hurt here? i think it's
still the marginalized group who's supposed political advocates botch up an
already wonderful liberal agenda chock full of good ol' american
constitutionality and individualism with legislature that keeps pooring the
power into the pockets of the 12% or so that already had it. maybe 12% is
too high an estimate :) dumb down the disadvantaged and the rest is cake.
give them their cake and they'll never understand that they're still
starving.
