Re: Emmyou Harris Question



I'm a "recovered country music hater" also. The man who did it for me was
Gram Parsons of "Flying Burrito Brothers" fame. (Household name, right?)
Absolute genius. He also did a short stint with the Byrds and hung with the
Stones a lot, too. Coincidentally, he discovered Emmylou and did some
production and beautiful duets with her. Too bad he liked heroine a lot. I
don't have "wrecking ball" but Mark Sullivan from the Blackwell's
(Pittsburgh local alt-country band) told me it's a primo album.
