Ain't these guys like all dead as a dark alley white cat jabbering about the
grand dragon in gary? Besides, weren't they all before rock and roll so how
can their jazz be relevant today? and like Cage man, he wouldn't have
considered the screamin' frenzy of sounds popping out of his pad as music
right or that Gorecki guy, naming songs after beer like that, now he must
have been some crazy alcoholic beat or something so I'll bet his songs all
ride like a drunken blue rooster on a sunday morning or something but I'll
admit that last one now -- Beet-oven -- has a *beat* and *oven* in his name
so that must mean maybe he did some freestyle cooking cuz by association
there's this dig in Chicago called the *beat kitchen* that hatches some crazy
sounds so I could see where he could be hot, twenty three skidoo in the flip
city man kicking up deaths butt with the heels of those angelic keys laying
down some low steady riffs til the whole audience is rapturously straining
forward to hear and getting so down that you could hear a moth in the window
as competition when suddenly he raps out the da da da dum on them with them
smashing hands ending 'em all off to the wild side of heaven where all the
happening saints play and dance the wild gaby with mikey raph...yea -- dig it.
