i spied his rig at a canal street show a LONG time ago
and noticed that he used a morley volume pedal, a ts9
tube screamer, and i *think* an old boss analogue
delay. he may have had a boss digital delay, too, but
i can't remember off hand. i remember he had a few
more toys, too.
i can get pretty much the same sound (which i've used
before knowing who otr was) by using either a boss dd3
delay pedal, or old ibanez dc10 analogue delay champ,
combined with either a dod overdrive/preamp 250 from
the 70s, or the standard boss ds-1 distortion. try
throwing in a vintage boss ce-2 chorus with the rate
cranked and the speed at minimum. it adds a cool tin
can effect.

yes! i got one, too! was yours the "daliclops"
postcard. i think this stands as the coolest otr
related trinket i've received, and it's not even an
otr thing, really.
