Re: Tom Waits/bink show

One of the most interesting films that I've seen Tom Waits in was a short
little art flick that we watched in one of my classes a couple of years
ago. I don't quite remember the title, although I think it was called
something like "Coffee Conversations". The director did a whole series
of them in which he got together 2 very dissimilar people and put them in
a cafe, (or in the case of tom , a truck stop) and turned the camera on
and recorded their conversation. The director paired Waits up with Iggy
Pop, which made for an interesting flick -and alot of chain smoking.

Also, I've been waiting for someone to post about the bink show/ amy
romania gathering, but since no one has I guess that I will. Listees in
attendence were: amy romania (whom is a really sweet and interesting
woman, I'm so glad I got the oppurtunity to meet you), jaime (wookie),
Raven, DM, Amber (who's not on the list but whom some of you might of met
at the Cowboy junkies show on Valentines day), JG (thanks for the
twinkies!), me, Heather 10, Alyssa (are you still on the list?) jess and
chuck-the-fiance, and the ever talented bink.
The show at Brady's was great, although I didn't get to really
get to talk to anybody there since I typically work the door at brady's.
After the show most of us adjourned to Ccicones, a little bar
near my apartment and many of us closed the place down at which point the
party continued back at my place for a couple more hours.
It was a really wonderful evening. Thank you to everyone who
helped me to celebrate my birthday, I have not had one so wonderful for
many years. Thank you.
