actually i do not believe this is the case. if you (all) go to Ric's band's 
site, www.monkmusic.com, and go to the Q&A page you will read that GDBD is 
his favorite album, though at the time he may have been a bit unhappy with 
less participation. the reason he left was he wanted to do more of his songs 
on his own not in OtR (like you seem to suggest), he thinks they sound better 
seperate. less of, as Linford puts it, having the shoelaces tied together and 
falling down. and to be honest i have to agree. though i'm sure Brian is 
another story.
