On Thursday, January 31, 2002, a group of six of us (Holly, Ed, Ted, Tracy, Wendy, and myself) met for the first monthly meeting of the as-yet-unnamed Supper Club… A group of friends who get together to socialize over great food.
We ate at The Maisonette to take advantage of a special late-dining prie fix menu consisting of a four-course meal with wines chosen to compliment each course. Never one to miss an opportunity to eat foie gras when we find it, Wendy & I added a course of foie gras.
The dinner was exceptional, of course, and some of the desserts were great favorites.
