What a meal.

Runs with knives!

Ahhh! Now this was a meal!
On Tuesday, January 14, 2003, Wendy & I attended (with our friends Doug, Doug & Meg) a Holiday Beers and Wild Game Extravaganza at the IRON HORSE INN in Glendale, Ohio.
Last night, Wendy came down to the University of Cincinnati, where I work, and we drove over to the dive shop where we're taking our scuba training.
We start classes on Sunday, and there's pre-class work that needed to be done. We met up with the very informative Charlie, one of the employees of the shop. He told us darned near everything we could ever wish to know about scuba gear and the classes.
On the way home, we decided to stop at Uno's Pizzaria for one of their wonderfully garlicky Sea Delico pizzas and a couple salads. It was a delicious meal on a cold Cincinnati day, and there is enough pizza left over for Wendy to enjoy for lunch!
Tonight, Wendy cooked her "poor man’s Chow Mein", a simple yet tasty & hearty one-skillet dinner made using fresh chicken, frozen vegetables, and Rama Noodles. We gussied it up by adding some Sesame Oil.
Tonight was a dinner on the go. Wendy got home from work at 7:20, and we had to be across town by 8:00, so we grabbed a couple burgers from Wendy's drive-through.
Why is it that even a simple order is messed up by drive-throughs? Is it me, or are fast-food employees actually becoming less efficient? Sheesh.
