music, literature, art and life in general

Mr. Prucher, list:

Jeez, ya didn't hafta copy Paul's whole e-mail back in your reply.
That's bad form... hahaha

Remember, terrorcats, what follows are OPINIONS only:

MUSIC
Duran, Live, OtR, Michael Penn, Crowded House, Neil Finn, REM, Aimee
Mann, Suzanne Vega, Shriekback, Duran, Sixpence None the Richer, Holtz's
Planets, Elliott Smith, Arcadia, Madonna, dada, Velocity Girl, Blur,
local bands, and Duran to name but a few.

LITERATURE
No opinion whatsoever. Last book I read was a year ago, "Focault's
Pendulum" by U. Eco. I like e.e.cummings work and parts of things
written by Buckminster Fuller (Critical Path, Earth Inc.).

ART
Picasso, MOMA, modernist movements, art museum on free day, photography,
my own painting every once in a while (but I really am lousy).

LIFE IN GENERAL
Overall I give it a 9+ on a 1-10 scale. Lately been hovering around a 3
but I'm sure that'll switch. Once, in college, I walked home from a
lousy final in the cold rain and thought I had it rough. UCincinnati
(go CATS!) is flanked by 6 hospitals in the mile surrounding campus. I
think I looked up to the sky in a dramatic movement as if to complain
about my crummy existance and saw a medical emergency helicopter racing
towards UC Hospital. I realised then how good I really have it.
Thinking about that helped me this week as well.

"trust - hope - love - live"

Bruce

"If UC doesn't beat XU tonight, I'm gonna be quite upset."
                                           Bruce Lachey, 1999
