I'm a postal employee, for whatever that's worth. I go to work at 2AM and
I like it....

It goes back to college, there are two reasons. The primary reason is that
my roommate and his friends liked to play wargames/boardgames, so on any
given weekend, they'd pull out a copy of Axis and Allies or Battletech or
Shogun, etc, etc, etc. These were games that, at that point in time, I was
seeing for the first time, and that they had been playing for years, so I
would lose and lose badly. I would find myself saying "I'm toast" quite
often and it kinda stuck.

Secondly, when I moved into my first apartment, I'd eat an inordinate
amount of toast. I'm not kidding, we're talking like 8-10 slices a day.
