(laughing very loudly)
>hi, newbie gregg. welcome aboard.
like I said: howdy.
>>the experience of how I first lucked into contact w/ the sublime
>>fine richness of Over The Rhine would be appropriate & maybe
>>entertaining if not interesting to everyone...
how long have you been lurking? because I'm thinking you are going to
fit in all too well in the happy commadry of virtual strangers...
>>Deep, inexhaustibly layered and soft, yet brazenly and

>>blown away in such a way as hearing something you know is fitting

but you didn't propose to Karin or Terri? Gregg...how could you pass up
such an opportunity?
>here's where we can play a little game:

>this will mean GDBD. now the game is, how long before we get >another
post from Gregg saying, "where/how can i get a copy of

>scour your used cd shops there in horsey-sized bug infested Florida"
ooh! fun!
>pretty well-done post, btw. i think you're gonna give T. Woode
>(is that right?) a run for his money. I can see listie Lynzi
>swooning as we speak.
>:-)
(here I am bursting into laughter loud enough they can hear me the next
three rows of computers---really, really, really)
um. so what if I am?
and hey, T. Woode--whatever happened to ya, sirrah?
oh, guys...
on a serious note. I would very much be happy with a copy of
Patience...make that two copies...on cd. really, I don't want much.
it's just that the radio station will soon realise that I have stolen
their fine copy, and me, being the only dj who plays three OtR songs per
hour, will probably be under heavy suspicion in a matter of time and
they will track me down, recite the ten commandments and remind me that
nice girls go to heaven when they're pretty good and cordial on digests
and only talk about OtR related things...
>(btw, how are you Lynzi?)
(thank you for asking)
doing very, very well...
except I had to part ways with George and Butch today. we've been
keeping company for two years, made lots of wonderful stories and stayed
up till two talking...
(pathetic sniff)
