i'm going to attempt to respond to every email i get
from the list while i'm still on it so that everyone 
remembers me and when i die and if you happen to
see my obituary you can say "hey that name sounds
familiar martha!"  because then we'll all be really old
(hopefully) and you'd call everyone martha.
