I would never describe OTR's lyrics as 'simplistic'.   AC/DC's lyrics are 
simplistic.   'Ubiquitous Hands' simplistic?

All at the same time.   That's why I love her.

This is puzzling.   So you want all acoustic music recorded directly into
Edison's wax cylinder?    

I also have to strongly disagree with the comparison made in the subject line
of this thread.   I certainly hope one day to have that special someone who is
both mate *and* lover, not just one or the other.

_Eve_ is a sultry woman with fire in her eyes who doesn't know she's
beautiful.

_GDBD_ is a nap on a Sunday afternoon because it's raining, and you can't mow
the lawn.
