My memory is terrible, but OtR opened for the Smithereens in '93 I think,
at the Beacon Theatre in NYC.  I went to that show to work the booth
(thanks to Shelly!), and hand out promo postcards.  The audience was
respectful, but wasn't as well suited to the band as CJ fans are.
