Buying CDs because of reviews

I don't necessarily buy CDs because of reviews I read, but then, I don't
read many reviews.  I tend to either buy CDs on the recomendation of
friends.  Examples:

Over the Rhine
Afghan Whigs
Eddi Reader
Jeffrey Gaines
Cyndi Lauper
Julian Cope
(most of these were shared with my our lovely JG)

I also buy CDs because they have fun covers or fun names.  Examples:

The Best Kissers in the World
Zoe
Tanya Donnelly
Kami Lyle
Imani Coppola

I think some of the best music I stole from my dad, though...

I just buy CDs just to spend moeny sometimes, I think...which may explain
why I have so many...

Hope everyone in this winter weather is keeping safe...I know it's
treacherous out there.  And for those of you not experiencing this...can I
come visit???
