I admit that I am not as proficient in usage of wors as I would proclaim 
myself to be...

and I had to look all of these up in a dictionary.


fisticuffs:  a fight with the fists.  a boxing match.
             blows with the fists, punches.
             the science of boxing.

maudlin:    foolishly & tearfully sentimental, weakly  
            sentimental.       

tandem:     having two parts or things placed together.
            bicycle with two seats, and two sets of pedels.
            placed axially, in a line.

lucid:      shining, bright, resplendit
            clear, transparent.
            sane, mentally sound
            clear, distinct, presenting a clear view.

ubiquitous: a present or seeming present everywhere at the same time.
            existing everywhere, omnipresent.


I am quite certain there's more.
now we can memorise 'em and spout them in coffee shops among black clad 
intellectuals...

                                  yes, I am nuts.
