Being gay v. Christianity

This is a free Republican form of government. Being a Republican form of 
government we have the Constitution which we must obey as Americans. In 
this constitution there is the First Amendment which says that Congress 
shall make no law establishing a religion or promoting religious 
beliefs. This country was built on the freedom to choose religion and 
lifestyle. Even IF being gay is against the Christian Bible gay people 
should be free to live their own lifestyle and to marry if they so 
desire. The government, as stated in the First Amendment, should not be 
allowed to prevent this because of religious beliefs of others. It is 
their rights! You and I are NOT God and therefore we DO NOT have the 
power to judge! Leave gay people alone. I believe the laws against gay 
marriages are against the Constitution of the united States of America! 
The reason for the Ten Amendments was to place further restriction on 
the powers of the federal and state governments as stated in the 
preamble to the Bill of Rights which most people have never read because 
it is no longer taught. This is my stand on being gay.
