Re: midtimers



Man, this is going back 11 years.  I don't think I was at the New Band stage show because all I remember about them that year was that nifty little cassette sampler every fest goer got that included "If I'm Drowning."  I don't think I saw them until the next year, when Tim was there.  Of course, if I could see a '91 schedule, it might jog my memory, but who's still got one of those?

I didn't realize, either, that it was rare for listees to have been into the band back in the early days.  The way they would close with that super-long extended "If I'm Drowning" was like some kind of musical high.
