Re: dreams (No OtR)

On the topic of dreams to reality...

In the summer of 1993, I had just graduated from high school and was on
a missions trip in Russia for a month. We were staying in a completely
run-down hotel that was a former college dormitory. There were the 70 of
us and then a few scattered guests.

Directly across the hall were staying a couple of 20-something,
rough-looking guys, who seemed to have parties at all hours of the
night, every night.

One night, around 3 a.m., I woke up in a violently agitated state and
relayed to my bunkmates the very realistic dream I had just had. In the
dream, one of the guys in the room across the hall had stabbed one of
the persons invited to their party and then pushed them out of the
window. (We were on the third floor.) I calmed down, went to sleep, and
then we were awakened earlier than usual by our team leader in the
morning, telling us to get dressed and come downstairs.

You guessed it...everything I had just dreamed had been true and had
been happening sometime around the time I was dreaming it. It made
myself and the guys I had told it to pretty scared until I realized that
God let me see it so that we would realize that he was still in control
and new the future. A Bible reference in Matthew that I couldn't
remember ever hearing before, popped into my head that morning, and when
I read it, it blew me away.

    Matthew 10:26-28

Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not
be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

What I tell you in darkness, speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the
ear, preach ye upon the housetops.

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the
soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in
hell.
