So it's late Sunday night, and I just got finished watching "Raging Bull", the movie from 1980 with Robert DeNiro. Wow. So utterly starkly real. He just keeps going and going, even though the direction is obviously down. At the end, the part where he recites the scene from "On the Waterfront" and then they show the verses from John ch.9, makes me think he's maybe taking stock of his life for once. Any comments? I thought that despite the language and violence (which I usually don't like), this was a very compelling film.
