- My new album -
Hello all.
My name is Jesse Eubanks. I was the vocalist and guitarist for the song
Miles on the tribute album. I do many other musical projects in addition to the
band Ellipsis that covered Miles. My newest release is a mostly
acoustic album called "West Coast Politics East Coast Love."
It is a 14 song album of bare acoustic music often leaving nothing but the
simple picking of a guitar and some rather delicately crafted words. WCP ECL is
a melancholy folk album composed of half-thoughts and scattered notes strewn
together to journal the intellectual, spiritual and social journey of my
life living in California, Kentucky and Pennsylvania over the last four years.
Honesty leads to confession and confession to desperation. Features
contributions from Olga-Maria Cruz, Coury Deeb and Matt Osborn. Stunning
photography by Kentucky artist Sarah Derhake.
Recommended if you like: Denison Witmer, Dashboard Confessional, Over the
Rhine, David Wilcox, Bloomsday. Simple honest good music.
Blessings,
Jesse

Some listener comments:
"A peak in the journal of someone's, all too familiar journey, where words,
and subtle sounds have somehow captured the wild animals, the hidden wonders,
the tales of troubles, and the sighs of relief, the beauty of the cross -- left
them untamed and as close to their natural habitat as possible and smuggled them
out for all of us to experience." - Pablo Pauleo (Philadelphia, PA)
"Lyrics that give you insight into the
artist, but also insight into yourself. They are lyrics that address the
constant struggle between rejecting oneself and accepting grace." - Sarah
Thompson (Philadelphia, PA)
"West Coast Politics East Coast Love is
incredible." - Josh Shireman (Kansas City, MO)
"This collection of bare bones acoustic music sets a high
standard for Confessional music. Something that has been sorely lacking in
the experience of the Christian mainstream of worship, music, and
expressions. It is a deeply personal, at times pain filled, and at times
exuberant, collection of songs." - Paul Fife (Pastor, The Port Community Church,
Philadelphia)
