the people here are not shy...
Hey all -
In the past week I have thought about leaving the list two times. The first
time b/c a good friend, Michael Cade decided to leave. And I thought if
someone as genuine as he didn't want to be here...do I really want to? I
sure miss his presence on the list. The second time was today. After the way
things were handled with the whole 'gay' comment(which not everyone thought
was wrong, btw) and then my curiosity about K & L having children, I was
just hurt and tired of feeling attacked by certain people. I felt like quite
an *ace* after a certain persons reply, and I just didn't even want to have
anything to do with the list b/c if a few comments. But then, I received
several emails offlist...emails with very kind words. I mean, wow. I love
you guys. :) Thank you all very much. It made me remember why I enjoy the
list so much.
Just...like stop saying things to hurt others. Did you ever think that maybe
the harsh manner in which you reply is just as 'bad' as the comment or
question asked? Neither one of my questions were meant to cause trouble, and
some of you made me feel like the biggest horses patoot(sp?) for posting. I
know I've only been here for a few months, but in that time I've really
grown attached and I care about the list. I don't want to o-ffend anyone
here, or Karin and Linford for that matter. Duh. I simply adore them.
So...just stop, please.
