My first thoughts beyond the basics were of eternity.  It scared me so much I 
remember often not being to get to sleep or having nightmares when I did.  
Just the thought of  *life... never... ending*  freaked my little mind out.  
I remember sincerely hoping, that between the two options -- annihilation or 
eternal existence, that annihilation was the true one because living 
eternally, wherever one ended up doing the time, was just too scary a thought.
