This post is for all of those who have used this excuse for the violation of others civil rights (i.e. gun control, speech contro,etc) and you know who you are.

      If the Patriot Act saves just one life, especially that of a child, isn't it worth it?

      In all honesty, as I have said in emails to certain individuals, do not throw the baby away with the bath water.  While the act has questionable parts in it, there is some much needed changes, such as the reorganization of the intelligence and federal law enforcement agencies.  I have faith that the appropriate legal cahllenges will be made to the Supreme Court and the fine tuning will be done.  Unitl proven otherwise, I will remainsteadfast in my faith in the system that has served us well thus far and the system I have worked hard to protect.
