Since the "country of Mexico" was stolen by the
Spanish, does that make it ok?
What do you propose we do to make up for "stealing
the land from the Native Americans"? Should we all
go back to our country of origens? My lineage
is German, English, and Danish. Where should I go? My wife
has
English, Irish, and a bit of Cherokee in her.
Can her Cherokee part stay?
I refuse to be made to feel guilty for something
that happened 400 years ago that I neither participated in nor
advocated. To say that since our ancestors
"stole" the land, we are here illegally is absurd. If you don't
participate
in voting, you have no say in how our country is
governed. Like it or not, it's the only system of government we
have
and while it may have it's problems, it's the best
there is.
