Re: Another question.

rhys transported me when she wrote....
one is round and done on goldleaf. it's an outline in black of a
spanish
galleon - sails furled, the waves splashing. i used to stare for hours
at
it. after a while, i felt like i could hear the waves, taste the wind.
i
wanted to sail on that ship so badly. find new lands, see new things.

there's another painting too - it's a simpler scene, a road begins at
the
forfront, and winds its way back into nowhere. trees line the road,
and a
little fence. there's a church part way back. this one was more
peaceful
to stare at, and i would do it when i was supposed to be napping. i'd
pretend i was walking down the road. and the dust was between my toes.
i
could smell something cooking, stuff growing. and far away you can
hear
the people talking and working. lazy hot summer days in southern
spain.
     nothing like 'em

so yea, i guess i like visual art - the kind that lets me go
somewhere.

......wow rhys...i like how you write/think (and use all lower case) ;-)

....your story sounds so much like how i was as a child...if only i'd have
someone like you to grow up with....as my family found me to be an odd bird
when i'd imagine such things....sigh.....
