guru- was about a boy

it doesn't matter.  it is trash.  heather graham is especially awful.  you 
can see her pausing to think in the middle of her lines, trying to remember 
what comes next.  it's awful.

i have a friend who believes that women really can't write or direct 
comedies.  this movie, supposedly a romantic comedy, was written, directed, 
and edited by women.  it's not romantic OR funny.

and don't get me started on the awful links to it and sept. 11th.  a comedy 
about mid-easterners in nyc poking fun at nyc firefighters...  after that 
happened, we were sure we were getting our wishes for it to be canned.  oh 
well.  i've only been here a year, but everyday i learn a little more of how 
absolutely ridiculous this town and industry are.

and the fact that we had to work on sept 11th on this film...

ranting done.  i got to work on a real hollywood movie.  yay!
