Re: happy birthday?
it sounds like something my 12 year old daughter would want....how old is
this girl? sounds a bit odd ....but i heard of a 40ish old man in my area
that throws himself a party at a local bar & has an open invitation --free
beer & appetizers. suddenly the poor guy has many "friends". maybe this
is the same sort of situation?

so, i know this girl that is throwing a music festival/birthday party for
herself. this is the second or third year that she's done it. she calls
it cassfest. (her name is cass.) while i'll probably go and have a good
time, it seems like putting a large effort into booking several bands and
making flyers and such is a little much to do for a party celebrating
yourself, just because you exist. what do you think? i dont know. maybe
this isn't appropraite list material, it just got me thinking.. how much
is too much for a party with no apparent reason except to draw attention
to yourself? hmm..
still enjoying the weather,
kate
