when approached unexpectedly, he is apt to shatter from sheer nervousness.

normally, this would not be a problem, but seing as how the residual
gravitational pull from venus is ebbing, this means his shattering no
longer occurs at the speed oflight in quantum particles.  if it were, no
one would ever notice him suddenly disapparating into space.

how*ever* now he would make an unsightly mess of your clothes. (:
