TMBG

Hey there...I'm a new listee...got here by surfin the web and all that.
I've seen OtR 5 or 6 times now (including the ever so wonderful C-stone
shows) and I keep embarassing myself by whenever anyone mentions their
favorite band - I burst out - have you seen Over the Rhine? ??! You HAVE
to see OtR! And they're like - oh yeah? what do they sound like?
And I say - well - dreamy-like...someone once described
them to me (at the Madison, WI show Dec 14, 2001) that they're like your
mother, lover, and best friend all rolled into one.

I guess if you read too much into that it's kind of wierd...but if you
just let it be then you've got something, haven't you?

Anyhow - good lyric of the day - TMBG rules (but def. not in the way OtR
does)

So there's my two cents.

Oh by the way - Hi, my name's Michelle. I live in Illinois a good 58
miles from the wonderful cornfields of Bushnell and I'm a senior at the
U of Illinois. I do believe that my first OtR experience was here at UofI
when some wonderful wonderful person on the committee to bring bands here,
decided to in the same year bring OtR AND Havalina. A good friend of mine
brought me to see OtR and I've been in love ever since. Thank you thank
you thank you oh UofI Star Course Committee!

I guess that was 3 cents.

-Michelle
