Looking back at the "Moth" thread, it wasn't the theological nature of that
discussion (which I participated a little in) that appealed to me; rather it
was the fairly in depth discourse on what an OtR song means to some of us.
I'd like to see that more often; I'd love to take part in some discussions
about specific songs and how we interpret them. For instance, I've been
thinking about asking what y'all think about "Anything At All." I've heard
Karin say that it's about touring and that it's about reconciliation, but as
for me, I'm not sure how I interpret it. (If anyone wants to jump in on
that, feel free...) I don't really know where I'm going here, but I think I
mean to say this: the discussions on things that are common threads to a
few people, whether they be Christianity, Buffy, AI, or anything else, are
healthy and good--no one has to like everything that's written about
here--but I'd also like to see more in depth discussions about OtR and their
music, since that's the common thread we all have. That's my two cents
worth, I guess.
