The Festival of Faith and Writing? Yeah, that's a pretty big deal. My 
roomate is an English major so he actually paid the money to attend the 
conference (if you knew my roomate, you'd be questioning certain 
fundamental aspects of the universe right now). It was very interesting 
according to him. Alas, I have never gone due to the cost (they have a 
student rate, but it's still kinda high). Luckily, this is the 
exception, not the rule at Calvin. Case in point, we get to see Over the 
Rhine for around $5 about once or twice a year. They should put that on 
the cover of the brochures...
