Not to mention Evagelion's weird blend of Christian and Jewish

Sorry I took so long, I tried to do a search that included Tapert's response 
in the reply. Basically, the depiction of Vishnu in an episode of "Xena" 
deeply outraged and offended many people, and Tapert's official reply boiled 
down to "I'm sorry, but get a life", IIRC.

A search for "Xena" and "Vishnu" may provide you wth better esults.
