on being crazy...
so, i went to cornerstone and got a cd and a poster signed. i just spent $240 getting my *free* poster framed and matted. my free poster has suddenly become quite expensive. i think i might be going a little nutty. what do you guys think?
anyhow, cornerstone was a whole lot of fun, i really enjoyed myself and it was nice getting to meet a few of you guys. i might go back next year, but if i do i'm leaving starla at home. i love being with starla, but for some reason she doesn't really get into HARDCORE music. i guess i should have mentioned that most of the bands i was going to see were hardcore bands when i asked if it would be a good idea to bring her along with me. i didn't really realize that people ended up with broken legs and concussions at the hardcore concerts at cornerstone. starla almost got crushed at the Zao concert even though i thought that i was far enough away from the crazy flailing idiots that don't care if they hurt people or not.
both the over the rhine shows were excellent. the only thing that really pissed me off about the acoustic show was that there was a group of kids sitting right in front of us packed into this area like sardines and they kept bumping into me and kicking me on accident and being COMPLETELY obnoxious. then, as if that alone wasn't bad enough, they all laid down and SLEPT during the whole show. we were pretty close to the stage but these jerks slept in an area where at least 6 or 7 people that really wanted to see the show could have sat. it was pretty darn rude. i'm not going to review the shows because it looks like you guys covered everything that i was going to say.
that is all
