I reply:

I was the second of four official drummers for the late great Senator
Dillwilly, which became Jackie Fly and munched its way through a couple
more drummers before the singer and guitarist moved to Austin, TX and,
after a year of searching for a new rhythm section are now beginning anew
as Jackie Fly.

The long-time bass player, Pete Jacobs, now plays for the Shelly Dixon
Band.  (I don't know if I spelled the name right.)  

So anyway, I had a little year of Fort Wayne rock stardom before I
settled into the land of English-profs-in-in-training.

My drums are sadly dusty,
