Yep.  Did you get the live or studio version? That particular tune is a 
prime example of how you can have too much of a good thing.  Live, with 
Jack's guitar turned way up and the arrangement allowed to remain 
uncluttered, it is perfect.  The studio version, which thankfully didn't try 
to force it's way onto FFR, is less than perfect.  It is almost cheesy and 
overwrought.  (I still would like to hear "Miles" withOUT the mellotron.)

I experience the same problem with the Cowboy Junkies.  Less is more.  
Sparse is lush.  Compare "Dragging Hooks" from the concert portion of the 
DVD to the same song from the Documentary/CD.  The latter recordings are 
much better, and it has to do with more than just the addition of Karin's 
voice.  Or the louder guitar.  (Don't get me started on "Anniversary Song".) 
  Still, it is cool to hear alternate versions of songs we all know and 
love.

Linford, you need to take a horrible, poorly lighted photo of Michael to put 
on your first DVD!
