Trust me I will get to some possible Over the Rhine content here in a
second....but first. I used to be able to function on 4 or 5 hours sleep.
But, I was almost non-functional in class. It was worth it though to hear 5
songs...and meet a couple listees.

Okay...so I was in class and the teacher is trying to get to know us all a
little better so she asks an ice breaker question. Last class was "What is
your favorite type of flower". This time she lectured for awhile, the class
is "Issues in Marriage and Family Counseling", and then she asked each of us
what song represents what the lecture represented to us. Basically the
lecture was on family systems etc.. I froze! I have so many songs in my
head. So I had to go with the first song that came to my mind as it has
been pretty much on constant play recently and it is "Crescent Moon" by Bill
Mallonnee from a bootleg of a show I was at. The way he sings about meeting
his wife, just represents family to me....anyway. I am beyond the point of
rambling now. Other songs mentioned were, "Wind beneath my Wings",
something by Barry White, James Taylor....etc....

We get to play the song for the class this week. Sorry Linford and Karin,
maybe if I didn't stay up late to see y'all I could have thought of one of
your songs...that represents family.

out here,
Barry
