Lest I always be stuck with my bench image of Chevy Nova's and Poison Oak
and a little man polishing shoes. Let me tell you what it is really like.
My bench is on the third base side of a baseball diamond with a dirt infield
with grass growing in small clumps throughout. It give perfect view to the
kids playing ball, picking up rocks and throwing them off the field in order
to not get a bad hop on a hard ground ball. You can see the chainlink fence
overgrown with ivy at parts that seems miles away to the children but is not
really far away at all. Of course you have to walk down the hill to find
the field and my bench and if you come to join me you might want to bring a
blanket and or a chair as the bench was really made for children to sit on.
Ohh...the smell of the fresh cut outfield grass.

out here...nowhere near his bench but in my mind,
Barry
